Quantum Moves - Experimental Data - Introduction

This document shows the results of the game: "Quantum Moves". For a copy go to: http://www.scienceathome.org

The game consists of 20 execersizes.
Each exersize contains of a source (a hat) and a destination (a container). The source contains "water".
The object of the game is move the source towards the destination and empty the source.
What makes the exercise difficult is the shape of the source which resembles a hat. As a result when you move the hat the "water" will flow out of the hat (in reality this is even more complicated) and often when you reach the destination the source is empty and the result of the exercise is 0%.
I expect, that the object of the game is to reach the destination in the shortest time with the maximum amount in the hat. The chalenge of the game is to find a trategy to do that.

Results 17/04/2016

This was the day when I installed the game Quantum Moves was installed via http://www.scienceathome.org Installation was simple.
To do the game was not so easy because there is not much help. In the center of the screen there is a rotating button. After some try and error I found when you select this button you can move the button and the source basket. When you release the button the exercise is over and you can repeat.
When you are "lucky" you will receive a score and when you do your best you get a higest score with a ranking.
I performed 6 exercises.

Results 18/04/2016

This was my second test. Because I wanted to keep track of what my results are I wrote them down.

When you conside the column score there is sometimes one value or two values.
When there are two values the difference is always 200.
The way the results are displayed is in two steps:

First the lowest value and then the higest value. The second value is the final result

Because the second value is always? 200 higher this upgrade does not make sense.
In case there is one value this is the second or final value.
The best result (lowest ranking) is place 800 in game 10.
Second best result (lowest ranking +1) is place 847 in game 8.
The worst result (higest ranking) is place 1474 in game 13.
Second worst result (higest ranking -1) is place 1431 in game 2.

What this means is that not many people are doing this game.

Results 19/04/2016

This was my third day of testing. I performed the exercises 14,15,16

Exercise 14 is difficult. In one case I did not receive the bonus of 200 extra points.
I did not observe any ranking.
The results show a percentage value. Maybe that gives you an indication how you perform.
Exercise 15 showed the lowest ranking of 727.
Exercise 16 also no ranking.

Reflection

My first impression is that I doubt the Quantum Mechanical implications of the game. Specific if this game can be used in anyway to speed up the development of a Quantum Computer.
